Chalk Delivers Office Fit Out For Biscoes

Portsmouth, Hampshire – July 22, 2024 – Chalk is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Cat A fit-out for Biscoes Solicitors at their new offices in Port Solent, Portsmouth, Hampshire. The project, delivered within a tight three-month timeframe, has facilitated Biscoes’ office move and culminated in a grand opening evening event on Thursday, 18th July.

Our comprehensive fit-out included a range of specialised services designed to create a modern and functional workspace tailored to the needs of Biscoes Solicitors. Key aspects of the project included working to pre-agreed designs and completing the following works:

• Stripping Out and Preparatory Work: Initial stages involved the complete stripping out of the existing interiors to prepare the space for new installations.

• Air-Conditioning and Partitioning: We reconfigured the HVAC system and the alignment of office partitioning to define new office spaces.

• Suspended Flooring: The flooring was raised for electrical access and installations and then relevelled, complete with a new, high-quality finish.

• Full office decoration: Installation of acoustic dividing screens, painting and finishing throughout.

• Electrical and Lighting Installations: Our team managed the comprehensive installation of electrical systems, floor boxes for RCD and Data points, along with modern lighting solutions, and IT cabling to ensure robust server connectivity.

• Bespoke Joinery and Finishing: Custom joinery was crafted to meet specific requirements, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

• Staff Room and Kitchen: We designed and installed a fully equipped staff room and kitchen, providing a comfortable and practical shared space for employees.

• Stationery and Printer Room: A dedicated stationery and printer room was set up to streamline office operations.

• Private Meeting Rooms, Common Areas and Shared Spaces: The fit-out also included the creation of welcoming reception and common areas, shared office spaces, meeting rooms, and a boardroom, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.

• Office branding: The fit-out concluded with office branding to promote the presence of Biscoes as ground floor occupants of Lake House, Port Solent.
