Founded in 2015 with the mission to provide high-quality furniture at affordable prices primarily for the education sector, Chalk has today become a leading UK design and construction company, known for its innovative approach and efficient build processes in both education and commercial environments.
We're incredibly proud of our roots in education, our ability to deliver against DfE frameworks, and our latest efforts to become sustainable in our strategic approach to design, build and fit-out. In addition, we have expanded our expertise in bespoke commercial design. Our team has successfully completed 300+ projects and installed more than 750,000 items of furniture in the UK, EU, and UAE.

Sustainable Design and Construction
In 2021, Chalk moved to a purpose-built location in Emsworth, Hampshire, and opened production facilities in Chichester and Hull. These moves allowed for operational expansion and the consolidation of skills under three roofs, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment to streamline processes and increase efficiency. With easy access to major transportation routes, Chalk can serve clients across the UK and Europe. The company prioritizes both people and the planet, championing sustainability through eco-friendly materials sourcing and responsible waste management. Additionally, Chalk invests heavily in employee training and development programs to promote personal growth and job satisfaction. With a focus on quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and social responsibility, Chalk continues to innovate in design and construction.
